Marko Dabrovi? (Studio 3LHD, HR-Zagreb)
Rimac Campus

Marko Dabrovi? was born in 1969 in Zagreb, Croatia. He studied architecture at the University of Zagreb. In 1991 he founded rna studio for computer generated 3D visualizations. His main interest is the application of new technologies and materials in architecture, always exploring new possibilities for experimentation.

In 1994, together with Saša Begovi?, Tatjana Grozdani? Begovi? and Silvije Novak, he founded the architectural firm 3LHD, which is particularly interested in the integration of architecture, art and (urban) landscape. They take an integrative approach to their projects and believe that architecture is not only functional, but must respond to many other aspects. In their work, 3LHD combine realities and parameters that they have chosen themselves, but also those that have been set from the outside, while modifying the opinions of different people they involve in the planning process.

In 2020, 3LHD received the annual Viktor Kova?i? Award of the Croatian Association of Architects for the reconstruction of the old Urania Cinema in Zagreb, HR. Also in 2020, 3LHD presented a study for the urban revitalization of the approximately 45-hectare Gredelj zone. This abandoned industrial area not far from the center of Zagreb offers the opportunity to solve one of Zagreb’s biggest urban planning problems – the disconnection between the north and the south. Most recently, 3LHD planned a futuristic campus for electric sports car manufacturer Rimac on the outskirts of Zagreb. The sustainability concept for the campus combines modern technology and natural energy resources and features numerous innovative elements.
