gilt als Para de bei spiel seines Schaffens und ist zugleich ein Pro jekt
zwischen Modernitätsanspruch und feudalem Lebensgefühl, über
die das Centre des Monuments Nationaux viel zu berichten weiß.

A monument of classical modernism shines in new splendour
after a 15-year reconstruction period! Its architects, Robert Mallet-
Stevens, belonged to the architecture scene of the 1920s and
1930s. Besides pavilions, film sets and residences, the architect
also implemented a whole street in Paris: Rue Mallet-Stevens.
Villa Cavrois is regarded as a prime example of his creative work,
while simultaneously being a project between modernity stan-
dards and a feudal attitude towards life.
