The competition
The Innovation Awards Architecture+ are aimed at companies, processing firms, architects and interior designers from various fields of planning, building and equipping. Entries are invited that, based on architectural criteria, stand out for their design, functionality and conceptual quality.

Are architects and interior designers your ­target group?
Then the Innovation Award Architecture+ Office offers your company a special opportunity to present products from the office and contract sector to an expert audience. Industrial companies and designers present their developments to a jury of architects and interior designers – and thus to precisely those who decide on design, quality and possible applications in office and workplace environments.

The renowned Innovation Award Architecture+ Office of the architecture journal AIT is being held for the 14th time in 2026 in cooperation with ­Koelnmesse as part of ORGATEC. The focus is on products that make architectural quality visible in the office: from furniture and accessories to lighting and floor coverings, as well as further solutions for office buildings and working environments.

Awards are given to products that are convincing in terms of design, functionality and conceptual quality – and that meet the requirements of architects and interior designers to a particular degree.

Conditions of participation
The Innovation Award Architecture+ Office is aimed at industrial companies and processing firms with products or project-related solutions in the fields of office furniture, office accessories and equipment, luminaires, floor coverings and other products for use in office buildings.

Eligible for submission are innovative developments that are no more than three years old and available on the market at the time of ORGATEC 2026. Architects and interior designers who have worked together with a company on a product or solution may also participate.

Each company may submit up to four products. Participation in the Innovation Award Architecture+ Office may also be possible, by prior arrangement, for companies not exhibiting at ORGATEC 2026.

Exhibition
All submitted products will be presented in a special exhibition at the Innovation Award Architecture+ Office stand at ORGATEC 2026 in Cologne. In addition, you may display product literature relating to the respective product. This provides you with an additional presentation area alongside your own stand throughout the entire duration of ORGATEC 2026, from 27 to 30 October.

Jury
The submitted products will be evaluated and the award winners selected on 27 October 2026 by a jury of experts consisting of renowned architects, interior designers and decision-makers.

Award ceremony
Die Bekanntgabe der Preisträger*innen findet im Anschluss an die Jurysitzung am 27. Oktober 2026 um 17 Uhr im Rahmen einer öffentlichen Veranstaltung auf dem Stand des Innovationspreises Architektur+ Office statt.

Awards
The award winners will be announced immediately after the jury meeting on 27 October 2026 at 5 p.m. as part of a public event at the Innovation Award Architecture+ Office stand.

Special publication
Alle eingereichten Produkte werden in einem umfangreichen Sonderteil der AIT mit Bild und Text vorgestellt – inklusive Unternehmensnennung und Website-Link. Prämierte Produkte werden entsprechend gekennzeichnet. Die Ausgabe erreicht bis zu 20.000 Leser*innen.

Online presence
All submitted products will be presented with images and text in an extensive special section of AIT, including the company name and website link. Award-winning products will be marked accordingly. The issue reaches up to 20,000 readers.

Documents to be submitted
For each submitted product, a completed information sheet must be submitted before the start of the trade fair. It serves to prepare the jury and provide a better understanding of the product. You will receive the link to the template with your confirmation of participation.

Exhibit
For the special exhibition at the Innovation Award Architecture+ Office stand, we require your product or a representative sample. The exhibit will be evaluated by the jury and will remain at the Innovation Award stand until the end of the trade fair.

Participation fee for exhibitors at ORGATEC 2026:
EUR 1,750 plus VAT for the first product
EUR 750 plus VAT for each additional product

Cancellation fees
40 percent of the participation fee up to four weeks before the jury meeting
70 percent of the participation fee from four weeks before the jury meeting
100 percent of the participation fee from one week before the jury meeting
