SensiEtna ist eine Hommage an an den Ätna, Siziliens iko-
nischen Vulkan, und damit an die Urkraft der Natur. Die
Kollektion basiert auf der Verschmelzung von recycelten
Lavasteinresten und recyceltem Glas. Der Lavastein des
Ätna ist für seine extreme Haltbarkeit bekannt, und die im
Vulkan vorkommenden Mineralien führen zu einer großen
Farbvielfalt. Durch das Glas auf der Oberfläche werden
Farbeffekte von Elfenbein über Gelb und Dunkelrot bis
Schwarz erzielt. Diese sind vom glühenden bis erstarrten
Vulkangestein abgeleitet und erzählen die Geschichte der
Verwandlung. Drei Oberflächentexturen verleihen Sensi
Etna taktil und optisch eine weitere Dimension.

SensiEtna is a tribute to Mount Etna – Sicily’s iconic
volcano – and thus to the primal power of nature itself.
The collection is based on the fusion of recycled lava
stone fragments and recycled glass. Etna’s lava stone is
renowned for its exceptional durability, and the minerals
found within the volcano create a remarkable spectrum
of colours. A glass layer on the surface produces striking
chromatic effects ranging from ivory and yellow to deep
red and black. These colours are inspired by the transfor-
mation of volcanic rock from its glowing molten to its solid
state. Three surface textures give SensiEtna a tactile and
an additional visual dimension.
