BACHELORARBEIT AN DER HGK BASEL: ZENTRUM FÜR SUBKULTUR UND KULTUR
Das ZEEM – Zentrum für experimentelle elektronische Musik – will am Tag und bei Nacht den kreativen Austausch fördern. • The ZEEM aims to promote creative exchange day and night.
Die Aufgabenstellung „Ministry of Sound Dreispitz“ beinhaltete ein
fiktives Bespielungs-Konzept und eine räumliche Umsetzungsidee
für die ehemalige Lagerhalle der Burkhardt-Jundt AG auf dem Drei-
spitzareal in Basel. Die Institutionen vor Ort, wie das RadioX, das
Haus der elektronischen Künste und die HGK selbst, schaffen eine
interessante Ausgangslage mit viel Potenzial, um das Zentrum zu
einem Hotspot elektronischer Kunst und Musik zu machen. Sarah
Frey zeigt uns ihre Interpretation des Spieles von und mit Kulturen.
The project task of "Ministry of Sound Dreispitz" included a ficti-
tious usage concept and a spatial implementation idea for the for-
mer warehouse of Burkhardt-Jundt AG on the Dreispitz Area in
Basel. The local institutions, such as RadioX, the Haus der elektro-
nischen Künste, and the Academy of Art and Design (HGK) itself,
are creating an interesting starting point with great potential to
turn the centre into a hotspot for electronic art and music. Sarah
Frey presents her interpretation of the play of and with cultures.
