W ie wollen wir morgen leben und arbeiten? Und wie wollen wir
den uns zur Verfügung stehenden Lebens- und Arbeitsraum flexi-
bler und effizienter nutzen? Antworten gibt der neue Showroom von
Häfele im Stuttgarter Römerkastell. In der ganz in Schwarz gehaltenen
„Ideen-Werkstatt“ werden Möbel, Licht, Raum und Konnektivität neu
gedacht, geplant und umgesetzt. Vor allem innovative Hotel- und Wohn-
raumkonzepte, wie Micro-Living-Apartments, will der international aktive
Spezialist für Möbel- und Baubeschläge, elektronische Schließsysteme
und LED-Lichtlösungen in der Blackbox mit Innen-/ArchitektInnen disku-
tieren und entwickeln. Einen wichtigen Part spielt das Thema Licht und
wie sich damit Raumatmosphäre schaffen und verändern lässt. Die Stutt-
garter Kreativagentur jangled nerves hat dafür ein Raumkonzept entwi-
ckelt, das das Unternehmen, seine Sortimente und seine Lösungen auf
besondere Weise inszeniert. „Die Blackbox ist ein flexibler und hochfunk-
tionaler Raum und funktioniert wie eine Theaterbühne der Möglichkei-
ten“, erklärt Prof. Thomas Hundt, Mitgründer und -geschäftsführer von
jangled nerves. Das Bild eines Theaters mit verschiedenen Bühnen ist in
der Blackbox stets präsent. Boden, Decke, Wände – alles ist wie im Thea-

spatial concept developed by the Stuttgart-based creative agency jan-
gled nerves stages the company, its product ranges and solutions in a
special way. “The Blackbox is a flexible and highly functional space
that works like a theatre stage of possibilities,” explains Prof. Thomas
Hundt, co-founder and managing director of jangled nerves. The thea-
tre concept with different stages is omnipresent. Floor, ceiling, walls
– everything is finished in black, just like a theatre, and is staged with
a well thought-out lighting concept. The Blackbox serves as a flexible
exhibition space with a workshop character, as a stage for the Häfele
Academy and as a creative venue for up to 100 people.
