ORGATEC-MESSESTAND IN KÖLN
mit Teppichen von Ege Carpets
with carpets by Ege Carpets
Entwurf • Design raumkontor Innenarchiktur, Düsseldorf
N ew Visions of Work – als internationale Leitmesse für moderne Ar-

Carpets as well as a first appearance after the merger with Carpet Con-
cept, the Danish carpet manufacturer, in the Cologne exhibition halls.
Due to the linkage of the two traditional companies into a strong new
brand, an international “textile powerhouse” resulted that, with justi-
fication, shows itself self-confidently. Its guiding themes sustainability,
innovation, design and quality are holistically translated by the Düs-
seldorf raumkontor interior design firm: Carpets can here be hapti-
cally and visually experienced in all their facets from the floor to the
ceiling, from the yarn to the final product. This year’s motto of the ex-
hibition appearance of Ege Carpets, “Let’s weave a greener future” –
an invitation to design, production and take-back – can be clearly
seen in the atmospheric stand concept by Andrea Weitz and Jens
Wendland. On 330 square metres, the 56 colours by Margrethe Od-
gaard for the new Eco collections and the diversity of applications of
the range as to design and acoustics, aesthetics and well-being are
being displayed. Luminaires by Artemide, the cooperation partner of
the joint stand, produce an effective play of light and shadow, stage
the carpets and complement the stand design.
