E msiges Treiben im Stuttgarter Osten: Ein Gebäude nach dem anderen
wird saniert und immer neue Geschäfte sowie Cafés öffnen ihre
Pforten. Auch im Gewerbegebiet Gaisburg in Neckarnähe gibt es Neues zu
entdecken. Hierhin zog unlängst ein Able ger des FrischeParadieses, einer
der größten Fein kost-Spezialmärkte Deutsch lands. Nachdem der ur -
sprüng liche Standort in Bad Cannstatt zu klein geworden war, gab das
Unternehmen eine dreimal so große Markt halle auf der gegenüberliegen-
den Neckar seite in Auftrag, von wo aus bereits andere Lebens mit tel- und
Fein kosthändler Stuttgart und Um ge bung versorgen. Der insgesamt 3.200
Quadratmeter umfassende Neubau birgt eine Logistik ab teilung mit Kühl -
häusern, Büros und eine Verkaufs fläche von 1.100 Qua dratmetern. Auch

ein Bistro mit offener Küche gehört dazu. Robertneun Architekten aus
Berlin realisierten für FrischeParadies einen puristischen, industriell
anmutenden Bau mit Sicht beton tragwerk, Doppelstegfassade und einer
Dach kons truktion aus Holzfach werk. In der bis zu zehn Meter hohen, stüt-
zenfreien Ver kaufs halle sind insbesondere die sechs Meter lange Schin -
ken theke und die neun Meter lange Frisch fisch-Theke eine Attrak tion für
Gastro no men und End verbraucher. Ins richtige Licht gesetzt werden die
frischen Produkte in dem offenen Raum durch Optec-Strahler vom Lüden -
scheider Leuchtenhersteller Erco. Sie ermöglichen sowohl Ak zen tuie -
rungen als auch die Flutung einzelner Bereiche und eine optimierte Farb-
sowie Material wieder gabe – immer die Frische der Produkte betonend. ds

There is also something new to discover in the Gaisburg industrial park.
This is where recently a branch of the FrischeParadies moved to, one of
Germany’s largest special delicatessen markets. After the original locati-
on in Bad Cannstatt had become too small, the company commissioned
a market hall three times as large to be built on the opposite side of the
Neckar from which other food- and delicatessen retailers are already
suppling Stuttgart and its surroundings. The new building measuring a
total of 3,200 square metres contains a logistic department with cool sto-
rages, offices and a sales area of 1,100 square metres. A bistro with an
open kitchen is also part of it. RobertneunTM Architekten from Berlin
designed for FrischeParadies a purist, industrial-looking building with a
support structure of exposed concrete, a double-shell façade and a roof
construction of timber framework. In the up to ten metres high, unsup-
ported hall, special attractions for restaurateurs and end consumers are
the six metres long ham counter and the nine metres long fresh-fish
