I hren Anfang nahm die Danone-Gruppe 1919 in Barcelona: Damals ent-
wickelte Isaac Carasso eine Rezeptur für Joghurt, die Kindern bei
Durchfallerkrankungen helfen sollte. In den ersten Jahren war dieser
Joghurt ausschließlich in Apotheken erhältlich. Noch immer verfolgt das
Unternehmen, das mittlerweile zu den führenden Herstellern von Milch -
frischeprodukten gehört, die Vision, mit seinen Produkten die Gesundheit
und das Wohlbefinden der Menschen zu fördern. Diesen Ansprüchen
sollte selbstverständlich auch der neue Firmensitz in Istanbul genügen.
Im Entwurfsprozess mussten die Architekten von Sistema viele Details
berücksichtigen, um allen Bedürfnissen der 90 Angestellten gerecht zu
werden. Die innovativen Möbel von Nurus unterstützen diese Mission: Im
Großraumbüro sorgen Pila-Schreibtische durch aufgesetzte Trennwände
für Privatheit und verbessern so die Konzentration und Produktivität der
Mitarbeiter. Dank der in die Tische integrierten Elektrifizierungslösun gen
gehört das Kabel-Wirrwarr auf dem Schreibtisch der Vergangenheit an.
Breeze-Drehstühle bieten mit einer Sitzneigeverstellbarkeit von 25 Grad,
die sich in drei Positionen arretieren lässt, Entlastung beim Arbei ten. Zur
Aufbewahrung dienen Cube-Containermöbel, die mit Sitzkissen ausge-
stattet wurden und dadurch zugleich Sitzgelegenheiten sind. In den
Gemeinschaftsbereichen kommen Sitzmöbel der Atlantik-Kollektion von
Bernhardt Design by Nurus zum Einsatz, in den Wartebereichen auf den

T he Danone Group started out in Barcelona in 1919: At that time,
Isaac Carasso developed a recipe for yoghurt which was to cure
children of diarrhoea. In the first years, this yoghurt was available
exclusively in pharmacies. To this day, the company, which meanwhile
ranks among the leading producers of fresh dairy products, has the
vision to promote people’s health and wellbeing with its products. It
goes without saying that the new company headquarters in Istanbul
was also to meet these requirements. In the design process, the archi-
tects from Sistema had to take many details into consideration to satis-
fy all the needs of the 90 employees. The innovative furniture by Nurus
supported this mission: In the open-plan office, Pila desks with moun-
ted partitions ensure privacy and thus improve the concentration and
the productivity of the employees. Thanks to the electrification soluti-
ons integrated into the desks, the cable tangle on the desk is a thing
of the past. Breeze swivel chairs with a seat inclination adjustment of
25 degrees which can be locked in three positions, relieve strain on the
back while working. Cube models serve for storing, were equipped
with cushions and thus are seating opportunities as well. In the com-
