Entwurf • Design Erginoglu & Çalıslar, TR-Istanbul

A uf Initiative von Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, dem ersten Präsidenten der
Repub lik Türkei, wurde Anadolu Sigorta 1925 als erste nationale Ver -
siche rungsgesellschaft der Türkei gegründet. Bis heute zählt sie zu den
größten des Landes. Anlässlich der Verlegung des Hauptsitzes nach Istan -
bul wünschte sich das Unternehmen ein neues, zeitgemäßes Design mit
einer innovativen und zugleich komfortablen Büro einrichtung, die min-
destens für die nächsten zehn Jahre ein zukunftsfähiges Arbeiten ermög-
lichen sollte. Das Gestaltungskonzept für den 10.000 Quadrat me ter um -
fassenden neuen Firmensitz wurde vom ortsansässigen Archi tekturbüro
Erginoglu und Çalıslar entwickelt. In den Büros der 650 Mitarbei ter, die
sich über acht Stockwerke verteilen, sollten Arbeitsplatzsysteme und
Entspannungsbereiche einander ergänzen. Mit seinem umfassenden Pro -
duktportfolio bot Koleksiyon für alle Belange die passenden Möbel: Als
Arbeitsplätze im Großraumbüro kommen Barbari-Schreibtischsys teme
zum Einsatz. Ausgestattet mit Akustikpaneelen, senkt das von Stu dio
Kairos entworfene Möbel den Geräuschpegel im Großraum. Für den
Meetingbereich und als gemeinschaftliche Arbeitsplätze wurden die von
Koray Malhan entwickelten Khan-Besprechungstische mit integrierter
Verkabelungs lösung ausgewählt. Zahlreiche unterschiedliche Sofasyste-
me – vom extravaganten Sambia Sofa bis zum Opera-Sitzsystem mit wel-
lenförmiger Polste rung – dienen auf den Büroflächen und in den Pausen -
be reichen als Oasen zum Arbeiten und Entspannen. vc

to Istanbul, the company wanted a new, modern design with innovative
as well as comfortable office furnishings which was to make future-ori-
ented working possible at least for the next ten years. The design con-
cept for the company headquarters on an area of 10,000 square metres
was created by the local architectural office Erginoglu and Çalıslar. In
the offices of the 650 employees which extend across eight storeys,
workstation systems and relaxation zones were to complement each
other. With its comprehensive product portfolio, Koleksiyon offered the
suitable furniture for all concerns: As workstations in the open-plan
office, Barbari desk systems were chosen. Equipped with acoustic
panels, the furniture designed by Studio Kairos lowers the noise level in
the open-plan office. For the meeting area and as shared workstations,
the Khan conference tables with an integrated cabling solution which
were designed by Koray Malhan were selected. Numerous different sofa
systems – from the extravagant Sambia sofa to the opera-seating
systems with wavy upholstery – serve as oases for recreation, work and
