S eit 2016 realisiert Leifpeter Reichwald mit seinem jungen, erfahre-
nen Team Neubauprojekte, Modernisierungen und energetische Sa-
nierungen. „Wir stehen für eine klare und funktionale Architektur, mit
einem hohen gestalterischen Anspruch. Rein formale Ansätze und Effekt-
hascherei finden in unseren Arbeiten keinen Raum ...“ – diese Haltung
spiegelt auch das 2020 realisierte Hamburger Doppelhaus Müller-Wiefel
wider. Das in Kubatur und Fassade ablesbare Ordnungsprinzip setzt sich
im Inneren fort, und zwar bis in die Bäder. Um das minimalistische Kon-
zept im Alltag nicht zu verwässern, wurde ein Maximum an Stauraum
eingeplant. In der von der Bauherrenfamilie selbst genutzten Haushälfte
kombinierte der 2013 in den BDA berufene Architekt die Badserien Ge-
berit One, iCon und Option mit dem AquaClean Sela Dusch-WC und der
Badewanne Tawa – Komfort, Design und Funktionalität aus einer Hand.
Platz für allerlei Bad-Artikel schaffen der Geberit iCon Waschtisch-Unter-
schrank in Eichenholzoptik und der beleuchtete, in die Vorwand inte-
grierte Spiegelschrank Geberit Option Plus. Barrierefreien Bewegungs-
spielraum ermöglicht die Walk-in-Dusche mit der bodengleichen Dusch-
fläche Setaplano. Die Nische für Shampoo und Duschgel ist ebenso in
das Vorwandsystem GIS integriert wie das Installationselement der rah-
menlosen Duschtrennwand. „Zu sehen ist nur, was gesehen werden

S ince 2016, Leifpeter Reichwald and his young, experienced team

of architecture with a high standard regarding design. There is no room

also reflected in the Hamburg semi-detached Müller-Wiefel House
completed in 2020. The principle of order visible in the building vo-
lume and the façade is continued inside all the way to the bathrooms.
To avoid disturbing the minimalist concept, a maximum of storage
space is included. In the half of the house used by the family of the
client, the architect, appointed by the Association of German Architects
BDA in 2013, combined the bathroom series Geberit One, iCon and Op-
tion with the AquaClean Sela shower WC and the Tawa bathtub – com-
fort, design and functionality from one source. The Geberit iCon
washbasin base cabinet in oak look and the illuminated Geberit Op-
tion Plus mirror cabinet in the prewall offer space for bathroom arti-
cles. Barrier-free movement space is ensured by the walk-in shower
with the floor-even Setaplano surface. The niche for shampoo and sho-
