In the old town of Olot, architect Arnau Vergés i Tejero recently designed new premises for the tourist information office.

Wie an einer Perlenkette reihen sich die Servicebereiche unter dem historischen Gemäuer aneinander. • The service areas in the historic building are strung up like pearls.

Die Touristinformation der Kleinstadt Olot am Fuße der spanischen
Pyrenäen empfängt ihre Besucher seit Neuestem in historischem
Gemäuer. Neben Informationen rund um die Gegend werden hier
auch interaktiv Einblicke gewährt, im Shop können Andenken er -
worben werden und unter den Arkaden im Innenhof wird Café ser-
viert. Zur Zonierung des lang gezogenen Gewölberaumes hat Archi -
tekt Arnau Vergés i Tejero dem lokalen Vulkanstein nur wenige
Materialien wie Eichenholz und Metall hinzugefügt.

Since very recently, the tourist information office in the small town
of Olot at the foot of the Spanish Pyrenees welcomes its visitors in
a historic building. Besides information on the surrounding area,
interactive insights are also given here, souvenirs can be bought in
the shop and coffee is being served under the arcades in the inner
courtyard. For structuring the elongated vaulted room, architect
Arnau Vergés i Tejero added just a few materials such as oak wood
and metal to the local volcanic stone.
