Außen wie innen voll saniert: die EKS-Sporthalle • Fully refurbished inside and outside

D er Landkreis Baunatal investierte in die Sanierung der Sporthalle
der Erich-Kästner-Schule und brachte das Gebäude für den
Schul- und Vereinsbetrieb mithilfe von RSE+ auf nachhaltige Weise
energetisch und funktional auf ein neues Level. Für rund 4,5 Millionen
Euro wurde der Bestand aus den 1980er-Jahren vollumfänglich sa-
niert. Neben einer neuen gedämmten Außenhaut samt Fenstern er-
hielt die Halle außerdem neue Deckenstrahlplatten zur Beheizung, die
an eine zentrale Holzpelletanlage angeschlossen ist. Zusätzlich sorgt
eine LED-Beleuchtung für eine umfangreiche energetische Ertüchti-
gung, die eine Kostenersparnis von bis zu 7.000 Euro im Jahr erbringt.
Hinzu kam die Erneuerung des Innenausbaus inklusive Sanitäranla-
gen und Nebenräumen wie Duschen, Umkleiden und Toiletten. Über-
dies planten die ArchitektInnen von RSE+ eine neue Besuchertribüne,
die das Spielfeld ergänzt und verschiedenste Veranstaltungen ermög-
licht. Eine positive Ausstrahlung der Räumlichkeiten wird durch helle
Farben und schnörkellose Festeinbauten erreicht. Passend dazu wur-
den elastische Vinylsportböden von Gerflor verlegt. Taraflex Surface
Mask in den Farbtönen 6032 München und 6029 Bonn sind dabei so-
wohl speziell für den Sportbetrieb und die Mehrzwecknutzung geeig-
net als auch umweltfreundlich, denn die Bodenbeläge bestehen zu
über 75 Prozent aus erneuerbaren Rohstoffen und enthalten 100 Pro-
