DGNB Diamant: New Work trifft auf Nachhaltigkeit. • New Work meets sustainability.
D üsseldorf ist um eine Landmarke reicher: den vertikalen Bürocam-
pus Eclipse. Gemeinsam von HPP Architekten und UNStudio im Auf-
trag von die developer Projektentwicklung entworfen, ragt das 16-geschos-
sige Gebäude mit seiner markanten Fassade 60 Meter in die Höhe und
bietet der Wirtschaftsprüfungs- und Beratungsgesellschaft PwC Deutsch-
land eine neue Heimat. Auf 50.600 Quadratmetern ist hier eine moderne
Bürolandschaft mit rund 1200 Arbeitsplätzen entstanden, in der das Prin-
zip des „Activity Based Working“, aber auch Begegnung und Austausch
eine zentrale Rolle spielen. So bilden zum Teil dreigeschossige Atrien und
Lichthöfe das Herzstück des Hochhauses und ermöglichen ein kommunik
atives Miteinander. Eine offene, flexible Architektur und ein hoher Grad
an Digitalisierung tragen dabei den heutigen und zukünftigen Anforderun-
gen Rechnung. So wird etwa die von Regent Lighting realisierte Beleuch-
tung über ein Power over Ethernet (PoE)-System mit hoher Sensordichte
gesteuert, das erhebliche Energieeinsparungen erzielt und die Zuwei-
sung und Buchung von Arbeitsplätzen – je nach Tätigkeit und Bedarf –
per App ermöglicht. Dadurch kann der CO -Ausstoß in einem Gebäude

dieser Größenordnung um bis zu 200 Tonnen pro Jahr reduziert werden –
was Eclipse zu einem besonders nachhaltigen Gebäude macht. Dies hat
auch die DGNB erkannt und den Campus nach der Platin-Zertifizierung
ebenfalls mit dem DGNB Diamant prämiert – der höchsten Auszeichnung
für gestalterische und baukulturelle Qualität. jp
D Eclipse. Designed jointly by HPP Architects and UNStudio on behalf

of digitalization take into account current and future requirements. For
