T ough Stuff Harley Davidson Konz präsentiert seit Kurzem auf 2000
Quadratmetern die gleichnamigen Motorräder samt funktionalem
und dekorativem Zubehör. Die Innengestaltung des von BKS Archi tekten
aus Trier neu gebauten Harley Davidson Store setzt auf einen reduzier-
ten, authentischen Industrie-Look – eine neutral gestaltete Bühne, auf
der die Harley-Modelle optimal zur Geltung kommen. Für die große, etwa
acht Meter hohe Wand im Treppenbereich wünschte sich der Bauherr
eine Gestaltung in Sichtbetonoptik. Ebenfalls auf der Wunschliste stand,
dass die Wand nicht nur mit der Nachbildung der Schalbretter zu den
echten Sichtbetonflächen, sondern in Farbton und Maserung auch zu
den angrenzenden Bodenfliesen in Betonoptik passen sollte. Die techni-
sche Umsetzung fand mit Pro dukten von Brillux statt. Der Farbtonfächer
Creativ Senti mento 78 bietet für die Gestaltung in Sichtbetonoptik ein
spezielles Spektrum an Betonfarbtönen sowie eine neutrale Grau-Reihe,
in dem der passende Farbton gefunden wurde. Sowohl die Grundspach-
telung als auch der folgende Dekogang erfolgte mit Creativ Sentimento 78,
im letzten Arbeits schritt wurden die Schal bretter eingeritzt. Die so gestal -
tete Sichtbetonoptik-Fläche kann noch mit Hydro-Imprägnierung 81 bear-
beitet werden. Die Technik ist vor allem in der Ladengestaltung gefragt,
denn die fertigen Flächen lassen sich ganz nach Bedarf polieren und
imprägnieren. Sie werden so noch glatter und gleichmäßiger im Glanz
und unempfindlicher gegen kurzzeitige Wasserein wirkung. ps

S ince recently, Tough Stuff Harley-Davidson in Konz has been dis-
playing the motorcycles of the same name including functional
and decorative accessories on an area measuring 2,000 square metres.
The interior design of the Harley-Davidson Store newly built by BKS
Architekten from Trier favours a minimalist, authentic industrial look –
a neutrally designed stage where the Harley models come optimally
into their own. For the large wall with a height of about eight metres
near the stairs, the client wanted a design with an exposed-concrete
look. Also on the wish list was that the wall should not only match the
actual exposed-concrete surfaces by imitating the shuttering but also,
as to the colour tone and the grain, the adjacent floor tiles in a concre-
te look. The technical implementation was achieved with products by
Brillux. For designing an exposed-concrete look, the Creativ
Sentimento 78 colour fan offers a special spectrum of concrete tones
as well as a series of neutral greys where the matching colour was
found. The base filling as well as the following decoration process was
done with Creativ Sentimento 78; the shuttering boards were carved in
the last step. The thus created surface with an exposed-concrete look
can then also be impregnated with Hydro 81. The technology is above
all in demand in store outfitting since the finished surfaces can be
