S eit 2005 spielt sich das Messetreiben in Mailand nun schon vor den
Toren der Stadt ab und auch die Umnutzung des alten, zentrums-
nahen Messegeländes nimmt nach und nach Form an. Auf dem heute
CityLife-Quartier genannten „Ex-Fiera“-Gelände entsteht ein autofreies,
begrüntes Mischgebiet aus Wohnen, Arbeiten und Konsum, das über
drei signifikante Wolkenkratzer verfügt. Die neuen Landmarken Mai-
lands von Arata Isozaki, Zaha Hadid und Daniel Libeskind gruppieren
sich im Quartierszentrum um die vom Architekturbüro One Works reali-
sierte Piazza Tre Torri. Inspiriert von der terrassierten wie geschwunge-
nen Form des Platzes, entwarf das Studio von Fabio Novembre für den
Michelin-Sternekoch Heinz Beck den Gastraum des im CityLife Shopping
Center District befindlichen Bistros Attimi. Dem Namen entsprechend,
der übersetzt Momente bedeutet, entstand ein Bewirtungsraum, der für
jeden Moment und jede Tages- wie Nachtzeit den passenden gehobenen
Rahmen bietet. Zum Center hin wird das Restaurant über einen markan-
ten Servicetresen abgeschirmt, dessen grau-melierte Verkleidung aus der
Volcanics-Kollektion von HiMacs stammt. Die gänzlich porenfreie Ober-
fläche liefert hier nicht nur einen wertigen Look, sondern auch eine lang-
lebige wie pflegeleichte Arbeitsfläche, die sich für den Kontakt mit Le-

ping Center district. In accordance with the name meaning moments
when translated, a dining room was produced which provides the suit-
able upscale setting for any moment and any time of the day and night.
Towards the Center, the restaurant is screened by a striking service coun-
ter whose grey-mottled panelling is from the Volcanics Collection by Hi-
Macs. The completely pore-free surface here not only supplies a high-qua-
lity look but also a durable, easy-care working area which is particularly
well suited for contact with food. The rest of the guestroom is designed in

tion elements accented by spots of colour in different shades of red.
