Die von Pierre Frey lancierte Marke Boussac
wurde um die Cocoon-Kollektion erweitert. Komfort
und ein hoher Nutzwert stehen im Vordergrund der
Entwurfsarbeit von Emmanuel Bossuet und Benjamin
Graindorge. Zur Produktlinie gehört der wattierte
Bezugs stoff Cocoon. Das Steppmuster ist inspiriert vom
Schliff eines Diamanten. Zwei übereinanderliegende
Schaum stoffschichten sorgen für Volumen und somit für
ein weiches Sitzgefühl. Der Bezugsstoff besitzt einen
Woll anteil von 45 Prozent und ist in fünf Farben erhält-
lich. Zur Kollektion gehört auch der Karostoff Cube.
Charakteristisch ist das aufgestickte Raster aus 3 4
Elasthangarn. Ein Hingucker ist außerdem Rope. Das an
Seemannsgarn erinnernde Maschengewebe besteht zu
70 Prozent aus Jute und ist als Raumteiler vorgesehen.
The Boussac brand launched by Pierre Frey has been
complemented with the Cocoon Collection. Comfort and
high utility are in the foreground of the designs by
Emmanuel Bossuet and Benjamin Graindorge. The quil-
ted Cocoon upholstery fabric is part of the product
series. The quilting pattern is inspired by the facets of a
diamond. Two foam layers on top of each other ensure
volume and thus a soft feel when sat upon. The uphol-
stery fabric has 45 per cent wool content and is availa-
ble in five colours. Also part of the collection is the Cube
checked fabric. Its special feature is the embroidered
grid of Elasthan yarn. Also an eye-catcher is Rope. The
mesh fabric reminding of nautical yarn consists 70 per 5 6
cent of jute and is intended for room partitions.

Die britische Designerin und Innenarchitektin
Emily Tyers vom Designstudio Etre entwarf für den
Objektspezialisten drapilux moderne Dessins im nordi-
schen Stil. Tyres stimmte Gardinen, Möbelbezüge,
Verdunkler und Bett überwürfe intelligent aufeinander
ab, sodass frei kombiniert werden kann. Die organi-
schen Dessins sind inspiriert von der Natur. Der
Produktname – ein Buchstaben- und Zahlenspiel – leitet
sich vom englischen Begriff „coordinate“ ab.
British designer Emily Tyers from the Etre design studio
created modern designs in Nordic style for the drapilux
contract specialist. Tyres cleverly coordinated curtains,
furniture upholstery, black-out fabrics and bed covers
so that they can be combined. The product name – a
play on letters and numbers – is derived from the
English word “coordinate”. 7
