Die Metamorphose ist gelungen! Aus einem heruntergekommenen
Lagerhaus wurde ein belebter Stadtteilmarkt. Dem Projekt ent -
wickler ReUrbano sowie den Architekten Francisco Pardo und Julio
Amezcua gelang es, mit Milán 44 einen neuen sozialen Treffpunkt
im Bezirk Colonia Juárez, unweit der Altstadt Mexico Citys, zu
schaffen. Auf vier Geschossen laden kleine Läden, Restaurants und
Cafés zum Bummeln, Einkaufen, Flanieren und Essengehen ein.
Das Revitalisierungsprojekt ist ein Gewinn für das gesamte Viertel.

The metamorphosis worked! A derelict warehouse has been turned
into a bustling city-district market. With Milán 44, the project-deve-
loping company ReUrbano as well as the architects Francisco Pardo
and Julio Amezcua succeeded in creating a new social meeting
point in the Colonia Juárez district not far from the old part of
Mexico City. On four storeys, small stores, restaurants and cafés
invite to stroll, shop, saunter and have a meal. The revitalization
project benefits the whole district.
