G öteborgs Skyline ist um ein Wahrzeichen reicher: das Platinan. Mit
seinen 60.000 Quadratmetern Grundfläche umfasst das Gebäude
Büro-, Wohn-, Einzelhandels-, Kultur-, Hotel- und Gastronomieflächen und
zielt mit dieser Mischnutzung darauf ab, innovative Arbeits- und Lebensfor-
men zu fördern. Denn alle Räumlichkeiten sind flexibel und an zukünftige
Veränderungen anpassbar. Ein Zusammenspiel von offenen Terrassen und
Wintergärten bietet zudem Raum für eine extensive Begrünung und schafft
eine ökologische Pufferzone, die von den Mietern für vielfältige Aktivitäten
genutzt werden kann. So soll der Bau zu einem integrativen, grünen und
dynamischen Bestandteil des erweiterten Stadtkerns werden. Das nach-
haltige Gebäudekonzept setzt sich auch im Inneren fort: Nicht nur durch
die Wahl der Materialien, sondern auch durch ein dynamisches Raumkli-
ma, in dem elektrisches Licht das natürliche Tageslicht ergänzt und mit
ihm harmoniert. Da Fagerhult bereits in der frühen Entwurfsphase ein-
bezogen wurde, konnte das schwedische Unternehmen für den Komplex
neue Leuchten entwickeln, die sich optimal in die moderne Architektur
einfügen – wie etwa die minimalistische, quadratische Profilleuchte Notor
36. Und während das Modell Kaskad die langen Flure beleuchtet, akzen-
tuieren die Strahler Touch Midi* und Zkye 55 die Restaurants und Eingän-

aims at promoting innovative ways of working and living. All rooms are
flexible and adaptable to future changes. A combination of open terra-
ces and conservatories also offers space for extensive greening and is
an ecological buffer zone that can be used by tenants for a variety of
activities. The building is thus intended to become an integrative, green
and dynamic part of the expanded city centre. The sustainable building
concept continues inside: not only through the choice of materials, but
also through a dynamic indoor climate where electric light complements
and harmonizes with natural daylight. As Fagerhult was involved in the
early design phase, the Swedish company was able to develop new lumi-
naires for the complex that blend perfectly into the modern architecture
– such as the minimalist, square Notor 36 profile luminaire. And while the

was to find the right balance between design, lighting comfort and energy
efficiency. This means that light is only used where it makes sense, resul-
ting in significant energy savings.
