borate design. Stefan Hofmann had the Palco spotlights from iGuzzini fitted with
additional anti-glare tubes by Lichtwerke GmbH. Furthermore, the lighting designer
had three-phase-current tracks installed above the ceiling substructure to accommodate
the spotlights, and what was originally intended as a traditional conference floor is now
a collaborative platform that can be used individually.

luminaires. Filigree low-voltage tracks of the Superrail type from iGuzzini run above the
work zones at right angles to the corridor areas. The tracks are fitted with linear LED
strips with diffuser optics, Palco track spotlights and Laser Blade XS downlights. When
the motion sensor-controlled linear ambient lighting of the central axis switches off after
20 minutes, the luminaires in the tracks switch on when the room is occupied, also
using a motion sensor. Three stored programmes can then be used to decide which
lighting effects are needed for the respective requirement. The offices on the third to
sixth floors are illuminated with the same lighting technology and additionally with
filigree free-standing luminaires. The free-standing luminaires have daylight- and moti-
on sensors and a swarm control system. In the restaurant on the ground floor, Palco
spotlights are fitted with additional tubes to achieve the best possible glare control and
the downlights are integrated into the slatted ceiling. As the restaurant is planned as a
multifunctional space for 3,000 employees, there are different lighting requirements. Grundriss 6. Obergeschoss • Floor plan level +6
