kunst entstehen lassen, das ist gleich nach der Kunden zufrie den heit das große An -
liegen des Teams von Sabrina Hödl und Mario Bertalanitsch. Am Rande der Grazer
Innen stadt liegt ihr jüngst fertiggestellter Friseursalon: Zeitgeist. Um den schma len
Ladenraum op tisch zu erweitern und effizient zu nutzen, platzierten die Pla ner von
Innocad die Frisier stüh le in der Raummitte. Die obligatorischen Frisier spiegel wurden
demnach entlang der Raumachse über kreisrunde Glas aus schnitte mit Leder gurten zwi-
schen Decke und Boden verspannt. Ihre zum Kun den geneigten Spiegel flächen gehen
nach unten hin in transparentes Glas über und betonen damit die Leich tigkeit der Kon -
struk tion und lassen den Raum unverbaut und offen wirken. Rostrote Pen del leuchten,
Beistell tische aus ge schälten Baumstämmen und leder be zo gene Sitz flächen sorgen
zusätzlich für eine rustikal nostalgische Note, die mittels großformatiger Foto grafien an
den Wänden verstärkt wird. Die stark perspektivischen Motive helfen außerdem, den
ansonsten dunkel aus gestalteten Salon auf subtile Weise heller und vor allem weitläu-
figer er scheinen zu lassen. Aus reichend Licht erhält der Salon über eine vollflächige
Vergla sung zur Straße und über zahlreiche Strahler, die aufgrund der deckenmontierten

Sabrina Hödl and Mario Bertalanitsch. Their most recently completed hair salon, called
Zeitgeist, is located on the edge of Graz’ city centre. In order to visually extend and effi-
ciently use the narrow store, the planners at Innocad positioned the hairdressing chairs
in the centre of the room. Consequently, the obligatory mirrors were positioned along
the room axis and tensioned with leather straps between the ceiling and the floor. The
mirrors are leaning towards the customer and change into transparent glass in the
lower section, thus emphasising the lightness of the construction and giving the room
an open and unobstructed appearance. Rust red pendant lights, side tables made of
debarked tree trunks and leather-covered seats additionally generate a rustic-nostalgic
touch, which is emphasises by large-format photographs on the walls. The strong per-
spective view of the motifs additionally helps to subtly brighten up the room with oth-
erwise dark furnishings and give it a more spacious appearance. A glazing facing the
street and numerous spotlights, which are hardly visible due to ceiling-mounted lamel-
las, ensure sufficient lighting of the salon. More light accentuations are added by nar-
row display shelves with backlit photographs of the salon’s creative hair styles.
