Durch diese gestalterische Maßnahme verschmelzen Tür und Wand zu einem Bauteil,
zu einem eingestellten Möbel. Aufgrund der hochwertig gestalteten, historischen
Straßenfassade kam zur ener getischen Optimierung in diesem Bereich nur eine
Innendämmung infrage. Zudem geht von der relativ stark befahrenen Straße eine
Schallemission aus, die hier eine natürliche Fensterlüftung als nicht attraktiv erschei-
nen ließ. Beide Aspekte führten zu der Entschei dung, eine Innendämmung aus acht
Zentimeter kapillaraktiven Holz faser dämmplatten mit einer Wandheizung, einem
Lehmputz und einer Lüftungsanlage mit Wärme rück gewinnung zu kombinieren. Das
Raumklima ist für ein historisches Gebäude ausgesprochen stabil und behaglich. In
dem offenen Raumgefüge haben sich die Strahlungswärme der Wand heizung, die
durch den Lehmputz gepufferte Luftfeuchtigkeit und die hohe Luftqualität aufgrund
kontinuierlicher Lüftung als sehr angenehm herausgestellt.
