Mit viel Liebe zum Detail, guten Handwerkern und ei ner gehörigen
Portion Wissen über die süddeutsche Reform archi tek tur der vor letz -
ten Jahr hundert wende schuf der Architekt Dr. Matthias Cas torph aus
einer unscheinbaren Wohnung in München-Neu hausen ein char man -
tes Appart ement im Stil der Zeit um 1900. Alles wirkt so na türlich und
selbstverständlich, als hätte es nie an ders ausgesehen. Erst auf den
zwei ten Blick offenbart sich das vermeintlich Authentische als zeit ge -
mäße Interpretation. Hier stellen wir die Arbeiten im Detail vor.

With much attention to detail, good craftsmen and a considerable
amount of knowledge about the South German Reformarchitektur of
the one but last turn of the century, the architect Dr Matthias
Castorph created out of a nondescript flat in München-Neuhausen a
charming apartment in the style of the time around 1900. Everything
looks as natural and self-evident as if it had never looked different.
Only at a second glance does what appears to be authentic manifest
itself as a contemporary interpretation.
