Designweek in Clerkenwell
Gerade noch als ein Highlight der Ventura Centrale im Rahmen des Mailänder Fuorisa-
lone zu sehen, sorgte die begehbare Skulptur „A Piece of Sky“ des Schweizer Architekten
und Designers Stephan Hürlemann bereits 2018 zur Clerkenwell Designweek für das per-
fekte Fotomotiv. Und auch in diesem Jahr versammelt sich die Architektur- und Design-
szene gut einen Monat nach der Mailänder Möbelmesse wieder in Londons Kreativvier-
tel, wo vom 21. bis 23. Mai das 10. Jubiläum der Designweek gefeiert wird. Neben Show-
rooms und Büros laden unzählige Veranstaltungen, Vorträge, Ausstellungen und Instal-
lationen zum Entdecken und Netzwerken an ganz besonderen Orten ein.
Recently a highlight of the Ventura Centrale at Milan's Fuorisalone, the walk-in sculp-
ture "A Piece of Sky" by Swiss architect and designer Stephan Hürlemann has been
the perfect photo motif in London's creative Clerkenwell district in 2018 already. And
also this year, about one month after the Milan Furniture Fair, the architecture and de-
sign scene meets again at the Designweek in Clerkenwell, which will celebrate its 10th
anniversary from 21 to 23 May. In addition to showrooms and offices, countless events,
lectures, and exhibitions invite visitors to explore and network at special locations.
