M it seinen 29 Geschossen ist das 1973 von Group Structures erbaute
Manhattan Center in Brüssel eines der größten Gebäude Belgiens.
In den obersten drei Geschossen hat die renommierte, international agie-
rende Anwaltskanzlei Covington & Burling LLP ihren Hauptsitz, und das
Architektenteam von Lehman Smith McLeish (LSM) bekam den Auftrag,
maßgeschneiderte Open-Space-Arbeitsbereiche, geschlossene Büros mit
eleganten Glastrennwänden, Gemeinschaftsräume, Konferenzräume und
informelle Räume einzuplanen. UniFor lieferte sowohl die Möbel als auch
die verglasten Trennwände für die 2.965 Quadratmeter Bürofläche. Die
zahlreichen privaten Büros für Partner und Associates variieren in der
Größe, aber alle beinhalten einen voll höhenverstellbaren Arbeitsplatz
sowie Wingspan, ein elegantes, freistehendes Modul, ein Bücherregalsy-
stem zum Einrichten, Unterteilen und Organisieren von High-End-Arbeits-
umgebungen und Executive-Suiten. Die privaten Büros sind von einfach
verglasten RP-Trennwänden umschlossen, entworfen von Renzo Piano,
während die Tagungsräume mit doppelt verglasten RP-Wänden akustisch
abgeschirmt sind. Supersincro-Glasschiebetüren, die aus bis zu fünf ge-
rahmten Glaspaneelen bestehen, verwandeln die Besprechungsräume

The top three floors are home to the prestigious international law firm
Covington & Burling LLP, and the Lehman Smith McLeish (LSM) team of
architects was commissioned to plan bespoke open-space workspaces,
enclosed offices with elegant glass partitions, common rooms, confe-
rence rooms and informal spaces. UniFor supplied both the furniture
and the glazed partitions for the 2,965 square metres of office space. The
numerous private offices for partners and associates vary in size, but all
include a height-adjustable workstation, as well as Wingspan, a sleek
freestanding module, bookcase system for setting up, dividing and orga-
nising high-end work environments and executive suites. The private of-
fices are enclosed by RP partitions with single glazing, which were desi-
gned by Renzo Piano, while the meeting rooms are acoustically shielded
with RP partitions with double glazing. Supersincro sliding glass doors,
each of which consists of up to five framed glass panels, quickly trans-
form the meeting rooms into open-space work areas. Each of the mee-
ting rooms features AV-Wall, a high-tech modular panelling system desi-
gned by UniFor specifically for boardrooms and formal conference
rooms. Customised furniture complements the individual furnishings.
