U nter dem Motto „Die pure Lust am Genuss“ gestalteten die Planer von 1zu33 für das
seit rund 300 Jahren bestehende Weingut Hensel einen Schau- und Verkos tungs -
raum, der allen Anforderungen eines modernen Gastronomiebetriebes ent spricht. Mit
Panoramablick auf die Weinberge können Interessierte hier nicht nur edle Tropfen testen
oder Feste feiern, sondern auch Kochkurse belegen und unter anderem lernen, welcher
Wein zu welchem Lebensmittel passt. Diesem umfangreichen Ange bot ent sprechend wurde
der Gastraum sowohl mit klassischer Weintheke als auch mit offener Event küche ausges-
tattet. Gegessen und getrunken wird auf der Terrasse, in Sitznischen mit Him mel sblick
oder an einer langen Tafel, die für bis zu 32 Personen ausgelegt ist. Eine Falt wand
ermöglicht im Bedarfsfall darüber hinaus die Teilung des Gastraums in zwei se parate
Bereiche. Für die Präsentation der Weine ersannen die Architekten im Empfangs be reich
ein so un aufdringliches wie elegantes Regalsystem, in dem die Weinflaschen auf aus zieh -
baren Tablaren angeordnet werden. Ebenfalls un auf geregt, aber von der Liebe zu klaren
Linien und abwechslungsreichen Haptiken zeugend, ist die Auswahl der Ober flä chen:
Natürlich belassene Höl zer, schwarze Fronten und zahlreiche Graunuancen profi lieren den
Raum und sorgen für ein in sich ruhendes, ästhetisches Gesamtbild, das durch die
Möblierung einen Hauch Vintage-Charme und Industrie-Chic mit einfließen lässt. hs Mit der Möblierung zieht ein Hauch von Industrie-Chic ein. • The furnishing adds a touch of industrial chic.

F or the Hensel winery, which has been in existence for approximately 300 years, and
with the motto “The pure enjoyment”, the planners from 1zu33 designed a show-
and tasting room which meets all the needs of a modern gastronomic facility. While
enjoying a panoramic view of the vineyards, the interested public is now not only able to
taste fine wines or have parties but also to take cooking courses and, among other subjects,
learn which wine goes with what kind of food. In accordance with this really comprehensive
programme, the function room was equipped with a classic wine bar as well as with an
open kitchen for specific events. Guests are welcome to eat and drink on the terrace, in
seating niches with a view of the sky or at a long table suitable for up to 32 persons. If the
need arises, a folding wall furthermore makes it possible to divide the function room into
two separate areas. For displaying the wines in the entrance area, the architects conceived
an unobtrusive as well as elegant shelf system where the wine bottles are neatly arranged
on extendable trays. Equally unpretentious but showing the interior designers’ love of
clear lines and diverse haptic qualities at the same time is the choice of the surfaces:
several types of untreated wood, black fronts and numerous shades of grey give the room
its characteristic look and contribute to a calm, aesthetic overall image with furniture
