N ew Work, Open Office, flexible Arbeitsweise – diese Schlagworte
sind aus heutigen Bürostrukturen nicht wegzudenken. Dass sie un-
terschiedlich interpretiert werden und an die Bedürfnisse eines Unter-
nehmens anzupassen sind, zeigt die Neugestaltung der Büroräu me der
GMK Markenberatung in Köln. Für die Berater am Rheinauhafen war
Transparenz ein ausschlaggebender Faktor. Nicht nur in Be zug auf ihre
Unternehmensarchitektur, sondern auch innerhalb des Corporate De-
signs. Die Grundlage für die Planung eruierten die Mitarbeiter in Zusam-
menarbeit mit dem Büromöbelhersteller König + Neurath und seiner
Work-Culture-Map, die mithilfe unterschiedlicher Abfragen Arbeitskul-
turen ermittelt und architektonisch interpretiert. Auf über 300 Quadrat-
metern wurden in diesem Fall Glastrennwände zu einem entscheiden-
den Element. Durch deren Einfassung mit schwarzen Profilen, kombi-
niert mit geschliffenem Es trich und farbigen Wänden, sind dabei die
Farbspektren der CI – Grün-Blau und Grau-Schwarz – an jedem Arbeits-
platz sichtbar. Dem gegenwärtigen Cleaning-Desk-Trend zum Trotz fiel
die Entscheidung – zur Stärkung der Identität und Orientierung – auf
personenbezogene Arbeitsplätze. Diese weisen innerhalb ihrer Gestal-
