I n Taufkirchen bei München eröffnete im März ein neuer Freizeit- und
Erlebnispark. Im Out doorbereich der Anlage erwartet die Be sucher un -
ter anderem ein Hochseil klet ter gar ten, eine Abseil station und ein Sky
Jump. Der In door bereich wiederum bietet eine Surfanlage mit einer ste-
henden Welle wie am Münchner Eisbach sowie einen vertikalen Windka -
nal zum Bodyflying. Daneben beherbergt der 2.300 Quadratmeter große
Erlebnistempel einen Gastro no mie be reich sowie ein Event- und Kon -
ferenzzentrum für Veranstal tun gen aller Art für bis zu 250 Per sonen. Für
die Planung des Gebäudes war das Architekturbüro fabplus aus Tapf heim
verantwortlich. Die Realisie rung der komplexen Innen ausbauten wieder-
um übernahm die TM Aus bau GmbH aus Puchheim. Im Zu schauerraum
der Body flying-Anlage schufen die Innenausbau-Spe zialis ten zum Bei -
spiel eine 350 Quadrat meter große Decke aus ge wölb ten Me tall-Ele men -
ten, die strahlenförmig den glä sernen Wind kanal-Zylinder um geben. Im
Bereich der Surfanlage waren die Puchhei mer hingegen für den Ausbau
der WCs und Umkleiden verantwortlich, die sich hinter einer das Surf -
becken flankierenden, ge schwungenen und mit Bambus la mellen verklei-
deten Wand verbergen. In der Surfhalle setzten die Ausbauprofis zu dem
eine ton nenschwere Tribünenanlage aus Betonfertigteilen um. Auch in
den Gastronomie- und Kon ferenz bereichen waren die Innenaus bauer ge -
fordert – etwa bei der Rea lisierung der aus Metallbändern ge flochtenen

I n March, a new leisure and adventure park was opened in Tauf kir chen
near Munich. In the outdoor area, the facility provides a rope clim bing
garden, an abseiling station and a sky jump. The indoor area, in turn,
offers a surfing facility with a standing wave, like the one at the Eisbach
in Munich, as well as a vertical wind tunnel for bodyflying. Ad ditionally,
the 2,300-square-meter adventure temple accommodates a res taurant
area as well as an event and conference centre for events of all kinds for
up to 250 people. Architectural office fabplus from Tapfheim was respon-
sible for the planning of the building. TM Ausbau GmbH from Puchheim,
Germany, was in charge of implementing the complex interior completi-
on. In the auditorium of the body flying unit, for example, the interior fit-
out specialists created a 350-square-metre ceiling made of curved metal
elements, surrounding the glass wind tunnel cylinder in a radiant arran-
gement. At the surfing facility, by contrast, the team from Puchheim was
responsible for the completion of the toilets and changing rooms, which
are concealed behind a curved wall with bamboo slats flanking the sur-
fing pool. In the surfing hall, the fitout professionals in stal led a grand-
stand made of prefabricated concrete elements weighing several tons.
