MONOLITH PLUS
Sanitärmodul von Geberit
Sanitary module by Geberit

Minimalistische Gestaltung dank Soft-Touch-Auslösung • Minimalist design thanks to Soft-Touch activation.
zahl reiche Funk tio nen birgt.
P laying hide-and-seek has come to an end! In cooperation with the
Swiss industrial designer Tribecraft, the worldwide acting sanita-
ry-ware company Gerberit developed an aesthetic alternative to the
under plaster installation of toilet tanks: Monolith Plus. The sanitary
object is part of the Monolith series and can, for instance, be combi-
ned with the AquaClean Sela shower WC. Glass, aluminium and clear
lines characterize the minimalist design which conceals surprisingly
numerous functions. Thus, with odour extraction, Geberit satisfies the
wish of many users for fresh air in the bathroom. Via user recognition,
the odour is directly extracted in the ceramics during a choice of five
to fifteen minutes while an LED light is flashing. In case of manual ope-
ration, the latter also reminds the user to turn the function off again.
A bar of coloured light at the back of the sanitary module ensures con-
stant, indirect orientation light. This as well is activated via user reco-
gnition – either upon entering the room or when one approaches the
toilet. The customer has a choice of seven cold-to-warm light colours:
blue, turquoise, magenta, orange, yellow, warm-white or white. Water-
saving flushing still has to be actively controlled. Due to the new Soft-
Touch technology, however, just slightly touching a narrow, minimal
protrusion at the top right of the aluminium frame suffices to activate
a large or small flushing volume.
• The soft light serves orientation and also has a sensuous effect. www.geberit.de • www.tribecraft.ch
