von Mercedes Benz in Istanbul ist das neue Arbeitsumfeld von

360 Mitar beitern. Entwickelt wurde das Gestaltungskonzept für die
Räum lichkeiten vom ortsansässigen Architekturbüro Boytorun Archi -
tects. Austausch und Kommunikation der Mitarbeiter zu fördern, war
die Prämisse bei der Gestaltung der Räume. Im Erdge schoss ist der
Empfangs bereich und in den Obergeschossen sind zahlreiche Arbeits -
plätze, Büros der Führungs ebene sowie Besprechungs räume angesie-
delt. Das Zentrum des Open Office befindet sich im obersten
Stockwerk: ein elliptischer Konferenz raum, der durch seine Form und
das transparente Design den Mittelpunkt dieser Etage bildet. Zur
Orientierung und Trennung der unterschiedlichen Abteilungen ent-
schieden sich die Architekten für farbige Zonierungen. Die Betonung
der Farbe Grün soll im Arbeitsumfeld eine natürliche Umgebung simu-
lieren. Bei der Ausstattung setzten die Architekten auf Möbel von
Koleksiyon. Mit seinem umfassenden Produkt portfolio bietet der Istan -
buler Büromöbelhersteller für alle Belange die passenden Möbel: Als
Arbeitsplätze im Großraumbüro kommen Calvino-Schreibtisch systeme
zum Einsatz, zahlreiche unterschiedliche Polstersysteme – vom elegan-
ten Tamina-Sofa bis zum Opera-Sitzsystem mit wellenförmiger
Polsterung – dienen auf den Büro flächen und in den Pausen bereichen
als Oase zum Arbeiten und Entspannen. rs

he approximately 6,000 square-metre office of the Mercedes Benz
IT Service Center in Istanbul is the new work environment of 360

employees. The design concept for the premises was developed by the
local Boytorun Archiects architectural office. The objective for desi-
gning the rooms was to promote exchange and communication among
the employees. On the ground floor is the reception area and, on the
upper floor, numerous workstations, offices of the management level
as well as meeting rooms are located. The hub of the open-plan office
is on the top floor: an elliptical conference room which forms the focus
of this floor because of its unusual shape and the surprisingly transpa-
rent design. For orienting and separating the various departments, the
architects decided in favour of colourful zoning. The emphasis on the
colour green in the work setting is to simulate natural surroundings to
create a more relaxed atmosphere. For the fittings, the architects chose
furniture from Koleksiyon. With its comprehensive product portfolio,
