Die Quelle Feté Kollektion des Künstlerkollektivs Rotganzen feiert seit 2009 die Vergäng-
lichkeit des Lebens und die Absurdität des Alltäglichen mit spielerisch unerwarteten Wen-
dungen abseits der Normen. Damit einem vom bitteren Nachgeschmack beim Umgang
mit einem so ernsthaften Thema wie der menschlichen Vergänglichkeit nicht zu schwer
ums Herz wird, erzeugt Glitzer und Glamour neuen Aufwind und erinnert an einen durch-
funkelnden Hoffnungsschimmer. So kann auch das 2022 für die Kollektion entstandene
Kunstwerk Tompouce, ein skulpturaler Tisch aus zwei Ulmenholzplatten, neuen Schwung
in eine statische Umgebung bringen. Aufgelockert durch eine schimmernde Discokugel,
die durch die Last des Holzes scheinbar verformt wird, bietet sich ein Blickfang als Grund-
lage einer mutigen Präsentation an. Mit ein bisschen Glamour wird jedes Angebot zu
einem Versprechen. Besonders für hochwertige Waren eine Chance, mit dem Möbelstück
um die Wette zu strahlen, und ein Appell, nicht alles so ernst zu nehmen.

Since 2009, the Quelle Fête collection by the artist collective Rotganzen in the tradi-
tion of American Pop Art and Italian Radical Design has been celebrating the tran-
sience of life and the absurdity of mundane life with playfully unexpected twists
and turns away from the norms. So that the bitter aftertaste of dealing with such a
serious topic as human transience doesn’t make your heart feel too heavy, glitter and
glamour create a new lease of life and remind of a glimmer of hope shining through.
The artwork Tompouce, a sculptural table made of two elm-wood panels created for
the collection in 2022, can also bring new vigour to a static environment. Livened
up by a shimmering disco ball that appears to be deformed by the weight of the
wood, it is an eye-catching centrepiece for a bold presentation. With a little glamour,
every offer becomes a promise. For high-quality goods in particular, this is a chance
to outshine the item of furniture and an appeal not to take everything so seriously.
