Eine überaus vielfältige Produktfamilie • An exceptionally diverse product family

A uf dem klassischen Wirtshausstuhl basiert die Erfolgsgeschichte der
Stuhlmarke Wagner, die Ende der 1970er-Jahre ihren Anfang nahm.
Seit dem hat sich in Sachen Sitzen einiges getan, doch Gutes hat Be stän dig -
keit. Dies war für den schwäbisch-bayerischen Stuhlhersteller und den
Desig ner Sven von Boetticher der Ausgangspunkt, den Stuhl-Klassiker
gemeinsam für das 21. Jahrhundert fit zu machen. Das Er geb nis kann sich
sehen lassen und punktet mit neuester Tech no logie in Bezug auf die
Rücken gesundheit. Die Basis des Stuhls stellt eine Kunst stoffschale dar, die
zu gleich als Rücken lehne und zur Aufnahme der Sitzfläche und der Stuhl -
bei ne dient. Die Beine bestehen bei allen Innenraum-Varianten aus Holz,
sind aber eben so wie die Kunststoffschale in der Farbwahl variabel.
Zusätzliche Varianz bieten be druck te und einfarbige Bezugsstoffe oder la -
siertes und natürliches Holz für die Sitzfläche. Darüber hinaus erfüllt die
Produkt fami l ie W2020 weitere Anforderungen an unterschiedliche Einsatz -
bereiche: Als Outdoor-Variante mit Metallbeinen und damit stapelbar oder
als Bar hocker und kleiner Hocker für den Innen- und Außenraum eignen
sich die Sitzgelegenheiten als Bestuhlung für Malls und Einkaufszentren.
Perfekt soll sich auch das Sitzen den individuellen Bedürfnissen an passen.
Durch das pa ten tierte Dondola-Gelenk unter der Sitzfläche bleibt diese ent-
koppelt und in al le Richtungen leicht be weglich. Dadurch wird das Sitzen
zu einer aktiven Tätigkeit – wünschenswert angesichts der Tatsache, dass
der Mensch bis zu 14 Stun den in sitzender Haltung verbringt. kg

T he success story of the Wagner chair brand, which began in the
late 1970s, is based on the classic inn chair. Since then, a lot
has changed in terms of seating, but good design is long lasting.
This was the starting point for the Swabian-Bavarian chair manu-
facturer and designer Sven von Boetticher to make the classic chair
fit for the 21st century. The result is impressive and features the
latest technology in terms of back health. The centrepiece of the
chair is a plastic shell that serves both as a backrest and to hold
the seat and the chair legs. The legs of all interior variants are
made of wood, but, like for the plastic shell, the colour selection is
variable. Printed and single-colour upholstery fabrics or glazed and
natural wood for the seat offer additional variety. In addition, the
W2020 product family meets further requirements for various areas
of use: As an outdoor version with metal legs and thus stackable,
or as a bar stool and small stool for indoor and outdoor use, the
chairs are suitable as seating for malls and shopping centres.
Sitting should also adapt perfectly to individual needs. The patent-
ed Dondola+ joint under the seat keeps it decoupled and easily
movable in all directions. This makes sitting an active activity -
desirable in view of the fact that people now spend up to 14 hours
in a seated position.
