Das Einfamilienhaus wurde erweitert. • The single-family house was extended.

B eim Heimkommen geht das Licht im Flur an, im Wohnzimmer ist
es angenehm warm, im Schlafzimmer kühl, die Jalousien reagie-
ren auf die Witterung und im Bad läuft die Lieblingsmusik. In einer
Komplettsanierung erweiterten und modernisierten die Bauherren aus
Stuttgart das kleine 1960er-Jahre-Haus zu einem großzügigen Smart
Home. Der Umbau sollte auf den wachsenden Raumbedarf der jungen
Familie reagieren, die Installationen sollen zukunftsfähig und anpass-
bar sein. Um mehr Wohnraum zu schaffen, plante der Architekt
Alexander Gregorcic einen zweigeschossigen Anbau anstelle des ehe-
maligen Winter gartens. Die Wände im Inneren des Altbaus wurden
entfernt und durch sichtbare Stahlträger ersetzt. Die schwarzen Profile
gliedern den Koch-, Ess- und Wohnbereich und setzen einen grafischen
Akzent. Die Leuchten von Nimbus und Tobias Grau lassen sich zu
unterschiedlichen Beleuchtungsszenarien zusammenschalten. Im intel-
ligenten Zu hause können Beleuchtung, Verschattung, Tür- und
Fensterkontakte, Heizung und Musik von unterwegs mit dem
Smartphone, über das Tablet oder über Touchpanels in den einzelnen
Geschossen angewählt werden. Die Informationen zur Haussteuerung
laufen über KNX-Lei tungen und einen individuell programmierten Gira
Home Server. Das intelligente Vernetzungssystem ist erweiterbar und
ermöglicht es der Familie, neue Einstellungen jederzeit selber vorzu-
nehmen und den eigenen Bedürfnissen anzupassen. kd

react according to the prevailing weather conditions, and your favouri-
te music plays in the bathroom. As part of a thorough refurbishment,
the clients from Stuttgart expanded and modernised the small house
from the 1960s and turned it into a spacious smart home. The conver-
sion was to respond to the growing space demand of the young family,
and the installations were to be future-proof and adaptable. To create
more living space, architect Alexander Gregorcic planned a two-storey
extension in the place of the former winter garden. The walls inside the
old building were removed and replaced by visible steel beams. The
black profiles structure the cooking, dining, and living areas and fur-
thermore add a graphic highlight. The luminaires from Nimbus and
Tobias Grau can be interconnected to create different lighting scena-
rios. In the smart home, lighting, shading, door and window contacts,
heating, and music can be controlled with the smartphone or tablet
when away, or via touch panels on the individual floors of the buil-
ding. The control information runs via KNX lines and an individually
programmed Gira Home Server. The intelligent networking system is Fotos: Ulrich Beuttenmüller, Kirchheim unter Teck
expandable and allows the family to adjust new settings at any time
and adapt them to their own needs as required.
