limousines of the 1950s and 1960s into idealized imagery, in which the dynamic roof lines of a
Joe Eichler house combine with the distinctive tail fins of a Ford Galaxie under a permanently
bright blue sky. What interests him about this is not only the respectful reproduction of the
respective design icons but he always wants to bring the optimism and the confidence of the
post-war period into the here and now.
