xtrem dünnwandig, äußerst ästhetisch und alltagstauglich – Val
begeisterte von Anfang an. Der nachhaltige Erfolg dieser von

Konstantin Grcic für Laufen entworfenen Saphirkeramik-Kollektion legte
es nahe, aus den revolutionären Waschbecken eine komplette Bad-
Kollektion entstehen zu lassen. Klare geometrische Formen, schlanke
Querschnitte und sanfte Radien prägen auch die neuesten Sprösslinge
der Val-Familie. Diesem Design-Duktus folgen jetzt auch ein 95 sowie ein
120 Zentimeter breiter Waschtisch, spülrandlose WCs, ein Bidet, eine
Badewanne und eine eigene Armaturenlinie, die dank ihrer reduziert-
schlanken, sich verjüngenden Formensprache harmonisch mit den
Keramiken korrespondiert. Die breiten neuen Waschbecken bieten ein
enormes Fassungsvermögen, sodass sie sich auch als Doppelwaschtisch
nutzen lassen. Außer mit den bekannten Badmöbeln Boutique und
Space kann Val auch mit der neuen Badmöbelserie Base kombiniert
werden. Die reduzierten Möbel sind jeweils matt oder glänzend in Ulme
hell, Dunkelbraun und Weiß erhältlich. Auch Wand-WC, Wand-Bidet und
Stand-WC sind geprägt von optischer Leichtigkeit. Runde Becken und
sich verjüngende Formen tragen zur skulpturalen Eleganz der spülrand-
losen, pflegeleichten Sanitärobjekte bei. Ein wahrer Blickfang ist die
kreisrunde, frei stehende Badewanne aus dem Laufen-eigenen
Elegantes Ensemble: WC, Bidet, Badewanne, Waschtische und Armaturen • Elegant ensemble Mineralgusswerkstoff Sentec. Dieser überzeugt nicht nur optisch, son-
dern auch durch seine samtig-weiche, pflegeleichte Haptik. wa

use – Val enthuses right away. The lasting success of this

SaphirKeramik collection, designed by Konstantin Grcic for Laufen,
suggested to expand the revolutionary washbasin into a complete
bathroom collection. Clear geometrical shapes, slender cross-sections
and gentle radii characterise the latest additions to the Val family. The
same design style was applied to a 95 centimetre and a 120 centime-
tre wide washstands, flush-rimless toilets, a bidet, a bathtub and a
separate fitting series, which with their reduce, slender and tapering
design vocabulary harmoniously complement the ceramic compo-
nents. The wide new washbasins have an enormous capacity so that
they can be used as twin washbasin. In addition to the known bath-
room furniture series Boutique and Space, Val can also be combined
with the new Base furniture series. The reduced objects are available
with matt or glossy finish in bright elm, dark brown and white. The
wall-mounted toilet and bidet and standing toilets are characterised
by visual lightness. Round basins and tapering shapes add to the
sculptural elegance of the rimless, easy-to-clean sanitary objects. A
true eye-catcher is the circular, free-standing bathtub made of
Laufen’s solid surface material Sentec, which impresses both visually
and with its velvety, smooth surface feel.
