Wohnresidenz mit markantem Flachdach • Domicile with distinctive flat roof

U nd die Liebe geht doch durch den Magen! – zumindest nach Auf -
fassung der Bauherren dieser Wohnresidenz in São Paulo. Für sie
entwarf der ortsansässige Architekt João Armentano einen eleganten
Gebäudekomplex mit 350 Quadratmetern Wohnfläche, die sich auf drei
Ebenen verteilen. Die großzügigen Außenanlagen mit Pool, Spa-Berei -
che und das Heimkino geben wenig Aufschluss über das wahre Stecken -
pferd der Bewohner – denn bei der Familie steht das Kochen, gemein-
sames Zubereiten und Essen im Mittelpunkt. Nicht nur eine, sondern
gleich zwei Küchen von Leicht wurden daher in das Konzept integriert:
eine Hauptküche, die überwiegend im Alltag genutzt wird, und eine
Gourmetküche für das gemeinsame Kochen und Genießen im Freun -
deskreis. Edelhölzer, Glas und Stein prägen die Innenraumgestaltung
und hauchen dem Wohnhaus eine mondäne Atmosphäre ein. Dieses
Materialspiel kommt auch in den beiden Küchen zum Tragen: Bei der
Hauptküche sind die Funktionszeile, Kochinsel und Hochschränke, die
allesamt zum Programm „Orlando“ gehören, mit Fronten aus Torf eiche
versehen. Neben der Exklusivität kommt die Funktionalität nicht zu
kurz: Die mittig platzierte, massive Kochinsel kann an den Schmalseiten
als Tresen genutzt werden. Für die Gourmetküche fiel die Wahl auf das
Programm Ios von Leicht mit Fronten aus edlem, mattem Glas. Kochen
auf höchstem Niveau und kühl-elegante, weitläufige Wohn räume: In der
Residenz in São Paulo ergänzt sich beides perfekt. vc

Local architect João Armentano designed an elegant building complex
with 350-square metres of living area distributed over three levels. The
generous outdoor areas with a pool, spa area and the home cinema
give little indication of the residents’ true hobby – the family loves to
cook, jointly prepare meals and eat together. That is why not just one
but two kitchens by Leicht were incorporated in the concept: a main
kitchen, which is predominantly used for everyday cooking activities,
and a gourmet kitchen for cooking together and indulging with friends.
Precious woods, glass and stone characterise the interior design and
lend the house a sophisticated atmosphere. This interplay of materials
is also brought to bear in the two kitchens: in the main kitchen, the
functional unit, cooking island and tall cupboards, all of which are
part of the “Orlando” series, are finished with fronts made of peat oak.
Besides exclusiveness, the design does not neglect functionality: the
narrow sides of the centrally positioned, massive cooking unit can be
used as counters. The “Ios” series by Leicht with fronts made of ele-
gant, matt glass was selected for the gourmet kitchen. Cooking at the
highest level and cool-elegant, spacious living areas perfectly comple-
