Richiuso work together under the name “I Tradizionali”. For the

Italian manufacturer of high-pressure laminates, Arpa Industriale,

they recently staged the new Fenix NTM material in an elegant way.

The series of five images is called “Scenario” and combines the great

passion of the two designers, cooking, with the innovative panel

material, which is distinguished by its extremely matt and at the same

time velvety surface. Thanks to a newly developed nano technology

process, which is used to refine the surface, no finger prints remain

visible after touching the material. Moreover, slight scratches caused

by usage can be thermally repaired. This property explains the name

of the product, which refers to the myth of the phoenix, which is
reborn from ashes and fire. With their five recipes, Cinciripini and

Richiuso created an illustrative and highly suggestive form of narra-

tion, where the material’s special properties show to advantage: low

light reflexivity, soft-touch surface with anti-fingerprint finish, ability to

be repaired thermally as well as the resistance to solvents and house-

hold chemicals. Enjoy your meal!
