Kinderleichtes, spielerisches Umgestalten • Very easy, playful rearrangement

enn ein System frei übersetzt „Würfel es zusammen!“ – ausge-
hend von der Aufforderung „cube it!“ – heißt, scheint es prädesti-
W
niert für den spielerischen Umgang mit Möblierung. Und dass sich das
Sofa- und Regalsystem Cubit besonders für die Gestaltung von Kinderräu-
men eignet, liegt auf der Hand. Schon bei der Zusammenstellung der Ele-
mente sind Planern und Nutzern kaum Grenzen gesetzt: Zwei Sitz-, drei
Rücken- und vier Seitenlehnenhöhen, unterschiedliche Breiten und Tie-
fen der Sitzfläche sowie 113 Farben in sechs Kollektionen lassen sich nach
Herzenslust arrangieren. Angeordnet in Reihe oder als Insel, entstehen
Rückzugsbereiche oder kommunikative Treffpunkte. Besonders wichtig
für Kindermöbel: Alle Module sind neu beziehbar, die Bezüge waschbar
und ihre Stoffe und Schäume ökotex-zertifiziert. Die Verwendung leichter
Holzelemente als Unterkonstruktion ermöglicht es den Kindern, ihre ei-
genen Spielwelten selbst immer wieder neu umzubauen. Dem modula-
ren Prinzip folgt auch das Cubit-Regalsystem. 22 Farben, zwei Echtholz-
Furniere und 34 Größen eignen sich zur Schaffung ganz individueller
Stauräume für Spielzeug, Kisten, Bücher, Polster und Decken. Jedes Ele-
ment verfügt zu diesem Zweck über eine umlaufende Fuge, sodass die
Module via Stecksystem werkzeugfrei zu ganzen Wänden gestapelt, ge-
reiht und stetig erweitert werden können. Unterschiedliche Tiefen erzeu-
gen je nach Gruppierung dabei eine reliefartige Struktur. Mit Haken und

Schrauben werden die Module klettersicher an der Wand befestigt. kg

of children's rooms. There are virtually no limits to planners and users,
even when the elements are put together: Two seat heights, three back-
rest heights, and four side rest heights, different seat widths and depths,
as well as 113 colours in six collections can be combined to your heart's
content. Arranged in rows or as islands, retreat areas or communicative
meeting points can be created. Especially important for children's furni-
ture: all modules can be newly upholstered, the covers are washable,
and their fabrics and foams are certified according to the OEKO-TEX stan-
dard. The use of lightweight wooden elements as a substructure enables
children to rebuild their play worlds themselves. The Cubit shelving sy-
stem also follows the modular principle. 22 colours, two real wood ve-
neers, and 34 sizes are suitable for creating individual storage spaces for
toys, boxes, books, cushions, and blankets. For this purpose, each ele-
ment has a circumferential joint, so that the modules can be stacked,
lined up, and continuously extended without the use of tools to form en-
tire wall units thanks to a push-fit system. Depending on the arrange-
ment, different depths create a relief-like structure. The modules are fixed
to the wall with hooks and screws so that they are safe to be climbed.
