CMA 4.0 OFFICE
IN FRANKFURT AM MAIN
The new premises of the cyrus moser architectural office
look (almost) like the city where they are located. That is
5 5 7 6 because Frankfurt am Main captivates due to contrasts:
urban, rough squares and buildings, whose beauty only
9 becomes manifest at second glance, next to the elegant,
shiny façades and lobbies – all this combined with green
4
8 areas that offer calm to residents as well as visitors.

I n contrast to the metropolis on the Main, however, whose extraor-
5 dinary charm has been able to develop over the course of the
years, in the case of the architectural office of Oliver Cyrus and An-
dreas Moser, nothing had been left to chance – although the project
had to be implemented during the quite short time of close to ten
2
5 weeks. Originally two units, the premises spread across more than
600 square metres now form an open-plan office whose installations
allow establishing well thought-through zones. The stipulation had

been a maximum of twelve workstations per area to ensure an acou-
stically pleasant sound background for the employees. Without dis-
tracting from the loft appearance, this was achieved by designing
8 meeting- and privacy rooms with sound-absorbing glass walls which

Landstrasse was located in the middle of the industrial zone of the
Osthafen. Coordinated with this, subtle shades of grey and beige are
the basic colours and dominate the different premises. Already exi-
sting pieces of furniture such as tables, chairs, or shelves were used
again with slight adaptations and complemented with new designs.
In addition to a reception counter and an extraordinary meeting
table, sound absorbers, luminaires, suspended shelves and planter
boxes have also been added. The latter bring a further dimension to
the office. This is because the greening was a dear to the hearts of the
business owners of the owners and is not merely a decorative and
structuring element but – as do the Frankfurt green areas – also serves
the relaxation and the wellbeing of the employees amidst the often
