Als junge ungarische Milliardärsgattin Gabriella getarnt, erschleicht sich die Architektin und
Fotokünstlerin Andi Schmied Zugang in die obersten Geschosse von sündhaft teuren New
Yorker Wolkenkratzern. Unter dem Vorwand, eine exklusive Bleibe für Mann und Kind in
Manhattan anmieten zu wollen, überredet sie Luxusmakler, ihr Zugang zu Premiumimmo-
bilien zu verschaffen, die für Normalsterbliche nicht zugänglich sind. Die Diskrepanz zwi-
schen urbanen Anomalien, überteuerter Wohnlage, technischen Wunderwerken und ge-
staltungsarmen Interieurs hat sie mit der Kamera ihres Mobiltelefons festgehalten und ein
aufwendiges Buch daraus gemacht. Wir zeigen einige schräge Aus- und Einblicke.

Disguised as the young Hungarian billionaire wife Gabriella, the architect and photo ar-
tist Andi Schmied gains access to the top floors of sinfully expensive New York skyscra-
pers. Under the pretext of wanting to renting an exclusive place for her husband and
child in Manhattan, she persuades luxury brokers to grant her access to premium real
estate that is inaccessible to ordinary mortals. She captured the discrepancy between
urban anomalies, overpriced housing, technical marvels and interiors lacking in design
with the camera of her mobile phone and has made it into a lavish book. We show you
