V or über 100 Jahren entschied sich Uhrmachermeister Emil Präg für das
österreichische Dornbirn als Standort seiner Werkstatt. Heute be kannt
als Juwelier Präg, wird das Familienunternehmen in der vier ten Ge neration
geführt und vertreibt neben eigenen Juwe len, Uhren und Brillen auch Pro-
dukte der Marke Montblanc. Diese für hochwertige Schreibgeräte bekann-
te deutsche Marke ist längst nicht mehr auf Füllfeder halter be grenzt, son-
dern umfasst ebenso Uhren, lederne Taschen und Acces soires. Um dem
umfangreichen Sortiment mehr Raum und Präsenz zu ge ben, er öffnete Präg
kürzlich den neuen Montblanc & Präg Concept Store di rekt am Marktplatz
in der Dornbirner Innenstadt. Analog dem Produktsortiment zeichnet sich
die Innenraumge staltung des neuen Shops durch ge hobene Materialien
aus. Im Zentrum steht eine messingfarbene Theke – in Ring form –, die
sowohl als Präsenta tions- wie auch als Verkaufsfläche dient und durch ihre
schwarze Unterkonstruktion einen schwebenden Eindruck er weckt. Dem
Atelier En der aus Nüziders im Vorarlberg war es dabei wichtig unterschied-
liche Funktions berei che miteinander zu verweben, um ei ne zwanglose
Atmos phäre zu schaffen. Eine dunkelblaue Farbgestaltung so wie Leuchten
von Zum tobel komplettieren dieses Konzept. Die schwarzen, schwenkba-
ren Deckenstrahler Intro dienen der gleichmäßigen Ausleuch tung und set-
zen zusätzlich einzelne Objekte in Szene. Auch innerhalb der Schaufens ter -
gestaltung setzt Zumtobel auf zurückhaltende, filigrane Leuch ten. Hier lässt

Juwelier Präg, the family business is now managed by the fourth genera-
tion and, in addition to its own jewellery, watches and eyeglasses, also
sells products of the Montblanc brand. This originally German brand
famous for high-quality writing utensils has long not just been limited to
fountain pens but also includes watches, leather goods and accessories.
To give the extensive range more room and presence, Präg recently ope-
ned the new Montblanc & Präg Concept Store right in the market square
of the Dornbirn city centre. Similar to the product range, the interior
design of the new shop likewise stands out with upscale materials. In the
centre of the room is a brass-coloured counter – in the shape of a ring –
which serves as a display- as well as a sales area and makes a floating
impression due to its black supporting structure. For Atelier Ender from
Nüziders in the Vorarlberg region, it was important to interweave various
functional areas and to create an informal atmosphere. A dark-blue
colour scheme well as luminaires by Zumtobel complements this unique
concept. The black, swivelling Intro ceiling spots ensure even illuminati-
on and also focus on individual objects. In the window display as well,
Zumtobel installed unobtrusive, filigree luminaires. Here the Super -
