I nspiriert vom Tiny-House-Trend präsentierte Carpet Concept auf der
Orgatec 2018 unter dem Motto „Mix Dir Deinen Space“ CAS Rooms
als multifunktionalen Alleskönner, der auf kleiner Fläche weitaus mehr
als nur eine Funktion bieten kann. Im Fokus des Messe auftritts von
Raumkontor stand das in Zusammenarbeit mit den Innenarchitekten
von bkp entstandene Konzept Take Two by bkp, das mittels dreier unter-
schiedlich großer CAS Rooms-Module jeweils eine berufliche und eine
freizeitliche Tätigkeit auf kreative Art kombiniert: Unter den Leitbegriffen
„Meeting & Gaming” ließen die Planer eine voll ausgestattete Konferenz-
einheit mit White-Board und Präsentationsmonitor entstehen, die mit-
hilfe einer Faltwand in zwei kleine Besprecher verwandelt werden kann
und in den Pausen Platz für Dartspiele, Tischtennis oder Yoga bereithält.
Die zweite CAS Rooms-Kabine mit dem Titel „Thinking & Relaxing” zeig-
te einen Besprechungsraum, dessen Sitzgruppe mit wenigen Handgrif-
fen in eine Liegefläche zum Ent spannen verwandelt werden kann. CAS
Rooms-Einheit Nummer drei lieferte als „Calling & Reboo ting”-Box einen
Rück zugsort, an der Nutzer telefonieren oder sich über das Audiosystem
mit einem Applaus-Track belohnen lassen können. Alle drei farbenfroh
ausgestalteten Raum szenarien demonstrierten dabei auf fantasievolle
sowie emotionale Weise die Verschmelzung von Arbeits- und Freizeit -
gestaltung und lieferten darüber hinaus eindrucksvolle Ideen für die

Rooms as a multifunction all-rounder meaning that it has more than one
function yet takes up little space. In the focus of the company’s exhibition
presentation was the innovative “Take Two” concept – the result of coope-
ration with the interior designers of bkp – which, due to three available CAS
Rooms modules with different dimensions, combines job-related and lei-
sure activities in a creative way: With the guiding concepts “Meeting &
Gaming”, the planners presented a fully equipped conference unit with a
whiteboard and a monitor for presentations which can also be turned into
two small meeting rooms with a folding wall and, during breaks, offers
room for playing darts, table tennis or doing yoga. The second CAS Rooms
pod with the name “Thinking & Relaxing” showed a meeting room with a
seating ensemble that, in just a few simple steps, one can turn into a recli-
ning area for comfortable relaxing. For “Calling & Rebooting”, unit number
three provides a space for privacy where the users can make phone calls or
let themselves be rewarded for work well done with an applause track
from the audio system. The three suprising room scenarios designed in
attractive colours demonstrated in an imaginative as well as emotional
way the merging of working and leisure and furthermore supplied impres-
sive ideas for the secondary use of conference- and meeting rooms.
