Daniel Ricardo González, born in 1975, lives and works as a
photo artist in Ravensburg. In his youth he was already
impressed with the lush architecture of the Orient and its
colourful and playful ornamentation. In 2016, his dream of “One
Thousand and One Nights” finally came true: he travelled
through Iran by couch-surfing and was simply overwhelmed by
the warmth and hospitality of the people. By means of spherical
panoramas, which consist of up to 30 individual pictures, he
succeeded to capture the country’s architecture in a very special
way and display them in his own artistic style. His images pres-
ent a side of the country which is rarely conveyed to people in
Europe. The pictures invite to discover the fantastic architecture
of the Persian world! All works of the Iran series can be pur-

prints on different materials. Additionally, an illustrated book on
the Orient is planned for next year.
