T he White Gold exhibition at the Slovenian National Museum of Ljubljana opens
up new perspectives on some of the most important porcelain objects of the
museum collection. In order to deliberately guide the visitor’s attention through the
exhibition space, the designers of presledek developed a labyrinth of fine black
strings, which are stretched between narrow brass profiles, thus partitioning off nar-
row pathways and small areas of pause and contemplation. The double-walled instal-
lation hovers above the floor, and depending on the visual axis, it appears as vague,
transparent system or veiling, dark curtain.
