Bei Damen Shipyards dreht sich alles um Schiffe. Die traditionsreiche
niederländische Unternehmensgruppe fertigt Schiffsrümpfe für
unterschiedlichste Zwecke – Öltanker, Militär-, Fischfang- und Fracht -
schiffe sowie Fähren und Luxusyachten. Group A sanierte für die
global agierende Firma ein denkmalgeschütztes Gebäude in
Vlissingen, das 1913 für die Königliche Schiffswerft erbaut worden
war. Das „De Schelde“ genannte Büro gebäude versprüht den
Charme der Vergangenheit und nautisches Flair.
Damen Shipyards is all about ships. The traditional Dutch corpora-
te group manufactures, located in Vlissingen, ship hulls for a wide
variety of purposes - oil tankers, military, fishing and cargo ships
as well as ferries and luxury yachts. The architects of Group A
refurbished a listed building in Vlissingen, which had been built in
1913 for the Royal Shipyard, for the globally operating company.
The office building called "De Schelde" radiates the charm of the
past and nautical flair.
