Der Konzertsaal entstand als modernes Kreuzgewölbe. Seine Form drückt sich auch in der neuen Südfassade aus. • The concert hall was designed as a modern cross vault and is expressed in the new south façade.
Die idyllische Barockanlage von Gut Hasselburg im Osten Schles-
wig- Hol steins bildet seit den 1980er-Jahren den stimmungsvollen
Hinter grund für klassische Konzert- und Opernaufführungen. Nun
ent standen im ehemaligen Kuhhaus der Anlage ein neuer, fast sa-
kral wirkender Konzertsaal sowie Ferien wohn un gen und Seminar-
räume. Den Entwurf verantwortete das noch junge Hamburger Büro
Beissert + Gruss Architekten. Obwohl die Eingriffe in den Bestand
massiv waren, wirkt das Ergebnis geradezu selbstverständlich.
Since the 1980s, the idyllic baroque estate of Gut Hasselburg in the
east of Schleswig-Holstein has served as the atmospheric background
for classical concert and opera performances. Now the former
cowhouse has been converted to provide a new, almost sacred con-
cert hall, holiday apartments and seminar rooms. The design was de-
veloped by the still young Hamburg-based office of Beissert + Gruss
Architekten. Although the interventions in the existing building were
massive, the result seems almost natural.
