M oderne Banken, die in Zeiten von Online-Banking zur Akquisition einen beson-
deren Fokus auf ihre lokale Präsenz legen müssen, wandeln den Charakter ihrer
Servicecenter zu immer wohnlicher anmutenden Einrichtungen. Dabei sowohl Seriosität
und Integrität als auch Tradition zu bewahren und zeitgleich für mehr Kundennähe und
Transparenz zu sorgen, ist dem Büro Mark by Barmade AG mit der Neugestaltung der
Raiffeisenbank in Lützelflüh gelungen. Eingestellte Einbauten, ein offener Grundriss und
eine lichte Deckenhöhe sorgen in dem eingeschossigen Anbau aus dem Jahr 2000 für
flexible Raumsituationen. Hinter dem Empfangstresen sind diskrete Besprechungsräume
in einer hölzernen Raum-in-Raum-Konstruktion verortet. Diese nimmt die Dachschrägen
des Bestands (um 1916 errichtet, seit 1990 ein Bankstandort und 2000 saniert) und der
geschossangleichenden Verbindung der zwei Gebäude auf. Ein regionaler Bezug wurde
durch die moderne Interpretation der Ornamente typischer Balkongeländer hergestellt,
die als Muster in das Holz der Tresen- und der SB-Station-Verkleidung eingefräst ist. Die
gleiche Ornamentik wird in einer dreidimensionalen Variation als Trennwand und Sicht-
schutz für die neu platzierten Arbeitsbereiche verwendet. Erdige Farbtöne unterstreichen
den durch die natürliche Materialauswahl getroffenen Aspekt der Nachhaltigkeit. Im
Loungebereich überbrückt man die Wartezeit mit Getränken aus dem integrierten Buffet.
I n times of online banking, modern banks have to focus on their local presence for
acquisition, thus transforming their service centres into increasingly homely-look-
ing facilities. With the new design of Raiffeisenbank in Lützelflüh, the office Mark by
Barmade AG has managed to maintain both respectability and integrity as well as
tradition while, at the same time, ensuring more customer proximity and transparency.
Added installations, an open floor plan and a clear ceiling height allow flexible room
situations in the extension built in 2000. Discreet meeting rooms in a wooden room-
in-room construction are located behind the reception desk. This construction incor-
porates the sloping roof of the old building from 1916, a bank location since 1990 and
renovated in 2000, and the floor-level aligning connection between the two buildings.
A regional reference was established by the modern interpretation of the ornaments
typical of balcony railings milled into the panelling of the counter and the self-service
station. The same ornamentation is used in a three-dimensional variation as a partition
wall and screen for the new work areas. Earthy colours emphasize the aspect of sus-
tainability achieved through the natural choice of materials. In the lounge area, waiting
time is shortened with drinks from the integrated buffet.
