D ie Raiffeisenbank Genève Ouest-Meyrin richtet ihren Fokus auf eine persönliche
Kundenberatung in der eigenen Filiale – fast wie in alten Zeiten. Und das im dop-
pelten Sinne, denn bereits 2008 erarbeitete sie gemeinsam mit Gehri das Konzept einer
modernen Beraterbank. Nun, 14 Jahre später, zog das Geldinstitut innerhalb des Meyrin
Centers um und beauftragte erneut das Schweizer Team mit der innenarchitektonischen
Gestaltung und Realisation. Für das pragmatische, aber doch wirkungsvolle Interieur
wurden die Baustoffe der vorherigen Bankfiliale im Center analysiert und zu großen Tei-
len am neuen Platz wiederverwendet. In der offenen Begegnungs- und Bankingzone im
Eingangsbereich wurden Materialien wie helles Holz und halbtransparente, geriffelte
Glasflächen verbaut, um trotz geforderter Diskretion einladend und elegant zu erschei-
nen. Eine L-förmige, gläserne Wand separiert hier den Empfangstresen von einem ersten
Besprechungsraum für unverbindliche Kundengespräche; ein hölzernes Deckenkonstrukt
verbindet die Bereiche gleichzeitig visuell und lockert dadurch die Raumsegmentierung.
Deutlich mehr Privatsphäre und individuelle Beratungen sind schließlich im rückwärtigen
Bereich möglich. Die zwei Besprechungsräume und ein Büro mit Arbeitsplätzen für zwei
Mitarbeitende sind konträr zum Empfang und entsprechend ihrer Funktion introvertiert
und geschlossen gestaltet und erhalten dank zarter Grüntöne eine persönliche Note.

R aiffeisen Genève Ouest-Meyrin focuses on personal customer advice in its own
branch; almost like in the old days. And that in two ways, because as early as 2008,
the bank worked with Gehri to develop the concept of a modern advisory bank. Now,
the financial institution moved within the Meyrin Center and again commissioned the
Swiss team with the interior design and implementation. For the pragmatic yet effective
interior, the building materials used for the previous bank branch in the Center were ana-
lysed and largely reused in the new location. In the open-plan meeting and banking zone
in the entrance area, materials such as light wood and semi-transparent, ribbed glass
surfaces were used to create a welcoming and elegant appearance despite the required
discretion. An L-shaped, glass wall separates the reception counter from a first meeting
room for non-binding conversations with customers; at the same time, a wooden ceiling
construction visually connects the areas and thus loosens the segmentation of the space.
Finally, significantly more privacy and individual consultations are possible in the rear
area. In contrast to the reception area, the two consultation rooms and an office with
workplaces for two employees are designed in an introverted and closed style according
to their function and are given a personal touch thanks to soft green shades.
