Bei vielen aktuellen Möbelentwürfen geht es um mehr als die vordergründige Funktion.
Gestalter und Hersteller möchten ihren Kunden die Möglichkeit bieten, Haltung zu be-
ziehen. Natürliche Materialien und Farben, Nachhaltigkeit in der Herstellung und der
Einsatz von innovativen recycelbaren Werkstoffen nehmen daher einen großer Stellen-
wert ein. Viele neue Kollektionen werden auf der Basis sowie unter intensivem Einbe-
zug ökologischer und ressourcenschonender Rohstoffe entwickelt.

Many current furniture designs are about more than just fulfilling the obvious
function. Designers and manufacturers want to offer their customers the opportunity
to adopt and express an attitude. Natural materials and colours, sustainability in
production and the use of innovative recyclable materials are therefore of great im-
portance. Many new collections are currently being developed on the basis of and
with the intensive incorporation of ecological and resource-saving raw materials.
