L ässig und flexibel – es gab Zeiten, in denen Adjektive wie diese nicht
zwangsläufig mit der Beschreibung von Innenraumgestaltungen diver-
ser Bank filialen oder Behörden verbunden wurden. Doch nun spielen hier
ebenfalls Transparenz und Leichtig keit eine maßgebende Rolle. Ver -
schwun den ist der zu weilen verstaubte Eindruck, den man von Insti tuten
dieser Art hatte. Überra schend ist dies nicht – aufgrund des Online -
bankings müssen sich ortsansässige Banken verstärkt mit ansprechenden
und einladenden Auf tritten behaupten. Dabei verlangt es nicht nur gegen-
über dem Kunden nach einer zeitgemäßen Darstellung. Auch die interne
Ar beits weise bedarf ei ner frischen Denkweise. Die neue Möbelserie von
gum po liefert in diesem Kontext Reduziertheit und Funktionalität. So lässt
sich der modulare Konfe renztisch dito mit unterschiedlichen Tischplatten
und Böcken aus mit Kunststoff oder Furnier beschichteten Platten frei
kombinieren und auf zwei Höhen für Besprechungen bedarfsorientiert
konfigurieren. Den Designern von Relvãokellermann war es ein Anlie -
gen, mithilfe eines klaren und kantigen Erschei nungsbildes ei nen ruhi-
gen Ge genpol zur steigenden Technifizierung zu liefern. Not wen di ge
An schlüsse für den elektrischen Bedarf sollen dabei nicht verdeckt,
sondern integriert wer den. Auf diese Weise dient die Fuge der geteil-
ten Tisch platte als Kabel durchlass und Führungsschiene für Ac cessoi -
res wie eine Steckerleiste und ein vielseitig nutzbares Ta blett. Ein tisch-

these were not necessarily associated with the description of the inte-
rior designs of various branches of banks or of government offices. But
nowadays, here as well transparency and lightness play a decisive role.
The, in some cases, out-dated impression which institutes of this type
made is definitely a thing of the past. This is not surprising – due to online
banking, local banks have to increasingly assert themselves with appealing
and inviting settings. A modern representation is not only required where
clients are concerned. The internal operation also needs fresh thinking. In
view of this, the new furniture series by gumpo offers reduction and
functionality at the same time. Thus the modular dito conference table
with various table tops and trestles consisting panels laminated with syn-
thetic material or veneer can be freely combined and, available in two dif-
ferent heights, it can be configured dependent on the need. To the desi-
gners of Relvãokellermann, it was of some concern to use a clear and angu-
lar design to calmly balance the increasing technification. The connections
necessary for supplying power are thereby not to be concealed but integra-

ted in the design of the table. The joint in the divided table top thus serves

a tray with many uses. A net underneath the table furthermore stores cable
ends and power packs out of sight.
